Privacy policy
We collect only the data needed to run the site and its account features, and we use it within the scope described below. This policy covers every public page and account feature on this site; it does not cover third-party sites you reach through a playback link.
What we collect
Interface preferences: language, theme and last used source are kept in your browser's local storage. Account data: email address, username, an irreversible password hash and membership status. Viewing activity: watch history, playback progress, favorite groups, follow subscriptions, and playback events such as start, pause, source switch and failure. Statistics: page views aggregated by day without personally identifying fields. Cookies: a session cookie keeps you signed in and protects forms; we set no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use this data only to sync playback progress, show favorites and update notices, rank recommendations, diagnose playback failures and limit abuse. We do not sell or rent personal data and do not share it for advertising targeting. Aggregated statistics only tell us which titles need better data or a fixed source.
How long we keep it
The session cookie expires when you sign out or it times out. Watch history and playback progress are kept while your account is active, and you can clear them or delete single records at any time. Notifications, comments and reports are kept for 180 days to resolve disputes, then deleted or anonymized. Aggregated playback statistics are kept for 13 months. After you close your account there is a 30-day recovery window; afterwards the data is removed from production and only anonymized counters remain.
Third parties and external requests
Posters and stills may load from external image hosts, and the player and video streams come from third-party sources that may log your IP address and browser information. Our robots.txt explicitly allows AI and search crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot to read public pages for summaries and citations; /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt contain public catalog data only. Content complaints and support messages go to the mailbox below and are used solely to answer that request.
Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask to view, correct or delete your account data, unsubscribe from notices, or request an explanation of where a piece of data came from and what it is used for. We answer requests within 15 business days. Visitors under 18 should use this site with a guardian's consent.
